Immaculata lost 43-8 at Troy Friday night, but coach Sean Sachen said he is proud of how hard the team continues to play even with the 0-8 record. Drew Sachen led the way with 135 yards on th ground and nearly 100 more threw the air. Coach Sachen said Tanier Karigan had several big catches on the night to keep drives going. The Raiders were down 43-0 early in the second half, but Sachen ran it for a 12-yard score on their first drive of the second half. The conversion was a pass from Justin Varney to Karigan. Coach Sachen said several Troy coaches came up to him after the game and talked to him about the effort the Raiders’ players gave during the game. Immaculata will host McLouth next week.
