The Raiders kept the game close early, but lost 48-12 to McLouth Friday night.
It was 14-12 McLouth after one quarter and 28-12 at the half.
Drew Sachen threw a touchdown pass to Justin Varney and another to Cory Holcomb.
“They never quit,’’ head coach Sean Sachen said. “I don’t have to come in and motivate these guys to come to work every day.”
The season may have ended with a 0-9 record, but coach Sachen said his team has learned life lessons.
“We are getting the best of what we’ve got,” he said. “What we are teaching these guys isn’t so much about the wins and the loses, it’s about fighting hard for each other and being a part of a team and striving to be something.”
Immaculata drove down the field late in the fourth quarter, but turned the ball over.
“We fought the entire time and what more can I ask for,” coach Sachen said.
Sachen had 87 yards rushing 113 passing.
Michael Valencia ran for 42 yards.
“This is probably the most proud I’ve been as far as a group of young men,” coach Sachen said.
