A woman was taken to the hospital following a collision Wednesday in south Lansing, according to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The accident was reported at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday at U.S. 73 and Marxen Road.
A 29-year-old Leavenworth woman was driving north in a 1994 Ford Ranger pickup truck. She slowed for a vehicle that was in front of her.
The pickup was struck in the rear passenger-side corner by a 2005 Dodge Stratus. The Stratus had swerved to the right and left before striking the truck. The collision caused the truck to flip over, according to the report.
The woman, who had been wearing a seat belt, was transported to Saint John Hospital.
The Stratus driver, a 66-year-old Lansing man, was not injured. He also had been wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
