    1. How long has Ladies Night Out been in existence and who does it benefit?
We are celebrating our 10th anniversary and we are excited to help raise money for the Leavenworth County Alliance Against Family Violence.
    2. What is offered at this event as far as types of vendors, food, and entertainment?
We have a variety of vendors that offer goods for purchase ranging from make up for your face to jewelry for your feet!
Food samples will be provided by Tampico, Bassa Prua, Family Bistro, Daylight Donut, Abe's Place, Black Belt BBQ and Chick-fil-a.
Our entertainment is local: a fashion show by Maurices, area school performance groups, demos from area businesses and live DJ.
    3. How does this event assist the Alliance Against Family Violence?
One-hundred percent of ticket sales, prize drawing and silent auction proceeds go to the Alliance. The Alliance will be on hand to accept any donations.
    4. What are some of the new additions that will be featured at this year's Ladies Night Out?
We have several different vendors who have not participated in the past.
The biggest change is the location. It will be at Lansing Elementary School, 450 West Mary.
    5. Has community support been good in past years and what are the most important reasons community members should attend the event this year?
We have always had a good turnout. This past year has been especially difficult for the Alliance and community support is the only way Ladies Night Out will be a success.
We are excited about the donations given by individuals and businesses. We are still accepting donations up until the night of the event.
It is going to be our best silent auction in 10 years. We encourage the community to come out and reach deep into their pockets and help keep the Alliance an active part of the community.
