  • A Leavenworth woman who was injured in a rollover accident was released from the hospital Thursday, a police spokesman said.
The 30-year-old woman had been listed in critical condition when she was taken to the hospital Sunday night after the crash in the area of Sixth and Chestnut streets, said Maj. Dan Nicodemus, Leavenworth Police Department deputy chief.
The woman had been driving south in a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt when the car struck a parked 1990 Chevrolet Silverado. The Cobalt rolled onto its hood.
The driver was partially ejected through the car's sunroof and her upper body was under the the overturned car, Nicodemus said.
Nicodemus said police suspect the driver may have been impaired.
"It will take some time to get (test results) back from the lab," he said.
