  • Aida Dozier, 53, of Leavenworth, Kansas passed away unexpectedly June 3, 2014 at her residence.
    Memorial Services will be Noon, at Rock Of Ages Church, Friday June 13, 2014 with Pastor Sam Sanford officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial with Military Honors will be in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
    Aida was born August 23, 1960 in Leavenworth, Kansas the daughter of LeRoy T. and Barbara Ann (Laudenslager) Wiley. Aida attended grade school and junior high in Easton, Kansas and graduated from Immaculata High School in Leavenworth. She then entered the United States Air Force in San Antonio, Texas, Lackland Air Force Base. After being honorable discharged she went to Kansas City Kansas Community College earning an associate degree in CNA and Recreational Therapy. She then became employed at Ross Hall taking care of the Sisters on the ground of Saint Mary’s University, and also worked for several years at Cushing Hospital in Leavenworth.
    Aida was involved in the Point Men Ministry, at Rock of Ages Church, with their focus on military men and women suffering from PTSD, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Aida enjoyed gardening vegetables and flowers, cooking, bingo, loved being outdoors, cats and animals, and would do anything for her children, grandchildren, and family.
    She is survived by her mother, one daughter; Christine M. Filbert, one son; Dustin G. Robertson, one grandchild, Aiden Robertson, two sisters; Melissa A Pierce and her husband Mike, and Barbara L. Wiley all of DeSota, Kansas, four brothers; Brian E. Wiley and his wife Peggy of Lawrence, Kansas, Steven T. Wiley, Leavenworth, Kansas, Jason S. Wiley and his wife Susan of O'Fallon, Missouri, and Kevin M. Wiley of Independence, Missouri, and many nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her father, one nephew, Aaron M. Wiley, and her grandparents.
    Memorials in her name may be directed to the family.
