Frank E. Nash, 90, Lansing, Kan. passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014.

Frank E. Nash, 90, Lansing, Kan. passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014. He was 
born September 21, 1923 in Leavenworth County, Kansas the son of John Oscar 
and Elizabeth (Hilscher) Nash.
He is survived by his wife, Marelynn Lee (Owens) Nash, that he would have celebrated 62 years of marriage with this July 4, son, Frank Nash, Jr. (Vicki), daughter, Sandra Nash Fink (Chris), three grandchildren, Ryan Nash (Stephanie), Leslie Fink and Matthew Fink, two great grandsons Hunter D. Nash and Austin E. Nash and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, John Oscar and Elizabeth (Hilscher) Nash, sisters, Pauline Newton and Virginia Knepper and brother, John J. 
Frank was a proud union laborer for over 50 years. He worked in the local shipyards, Sante Fe Depot and Richardson's garage before going to work for Kaaz Construction Co. He retired from Kaaz Construction Co., where he worked as a 
mechanic for over 30 years. After retirement, he worked for USD 469 and cleaning at Frank's Marine LLC. He served in the US Army during WW II in Luzan and Leyte 
Philippines and Japan. Frank loved old cars and working on them. If it had a 
motor, he could fix it!!! He also enjoyed auctions and working word search puzzles in his spare time.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the Davis Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 
2014 at the Davis Funeral Chapel, Rev. Chris Goodlin will officiate. Burial will follow in the Leavenworth National Cemetery. Condolences may be made at
