  • The Leavenworth Police Department has released the name of the woman who was killed last week in a house fire.
The woman has been identified as 39-year-old Raychel Littrice, said Maj. Dan Nicodemus, Leavenworth Police Department deputy chief.
Littrice was inside a house at 1925 Seneca St. on Thursday when a fire started in the kitchen. Firefighters carried her from the home. She later was pronounced dead at Saint Luke's Cushing Hospital, Leavenworth Assistant Fire Chief Mark Nietzke said.
