The incident was reported at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Fifth Avenue.
The victim reported he was beaten by three men. The attackers reportedly removed most of the victim's clothing and took his wallet and cell phone. The contents of the wallet included $7 in cash and a driver's license, said Maj. Dan Nicodemus, Leavenworth Police Department deputy chief.
Nicodemus said police don't have a description of the attackers other than two of them were said to be black males and the other was a white male.
Leavenworth County EMS transported the victim to the hospital.
"He had a lot of abrasions," Nicodemus said.
