    • 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. First City Haunts begins offering one-mile walking tours of "haunted" locations in Leavenworth. The cost is $20 per person. Tickets can be purchased at www.ghosttoursofkansas.com.
    • 7-10 p.m. Leavenworth Main Street hosts its final concert of the summer season at Haymarket Square, Seventh and Cherokee Streets. Crosseyed Jack, which plays classic rock and more, performs.

    • 2 p.m. Leavenworth Public Library, 417 Spruce St., hosts "Bronco Bustin' Showmen and Their Spectacular Wild West Shows," by Jane Rhoads. The event is free and open to the public. Call (913) 682-5666.

    Monday, Aug. 11
    • 9 a.m. The Leavenworth County Commission hosts a  regular meeting at the Leavenworth County Courthouse, 300 Walnut St. The meeting is open to the public.
    • 9 a.m. The Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth opens its 2014-15 academic year with an International Flag Ceremony at the Lewis and Clark Center. The event is open to the public. More than 60 nations will be represented.
