  • Letter to the editor: Faith is the answer to life's difficulties

  • To the editor:
    In John 8:1-11, a woman was caught in adultery and was brought before Jesus.
    The religious leaders said, "She should be stoned according to the law." As she stood there before them being condemned, Jesus stooped down and began writing in the dirt.
    The question is, what did he write? Could he have written down the man's name that was involved with her? After he wrote in the dirt, all the men left.
    If you feel empty, Jesus could be the answer to your failings. He can clean up your heart and forgive you and give you hope in a troubled life you may have.
