A preliminary hearing has been continued for a man accused of robbing a Leavenworth convenience store at knifepoint.

The hearing for Donail Foster was scheduled for Wednesday, but the case was continued until Sept. 12 for a status hearing.

Foster is charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping.

The charges stem from a Sept. 1, 2013, incident at a convenience store at 1031 Metropolitan Ave.

Wednesday's hearing had to be continued because the victim in the case was unavailable to testify, Assistant County Attorney Christopher Scott said.
