  • A teenager reported he was attacked by three masked men who searched his pockets Sunday night in Leavenworth, a police spokesman said.
The incident was reported shortly after 9 p.m. The 16-year-old boy reported he had been walking in an alley near Ohio Street between Columbia Avenue and Broadway.
"He reported that he was approached by three men that were wearing ski masks," said Maj. Dan Nicodemus, Leavenworth Police Department deputy chief.
One of the men reportedly grabbed the teen around the neck and punched him in the face.
"They asked him if he had any money," Nicodemus said. "Then they searched his pockets."
Nicodemus said the men apparently didn't take anything from the victim.
The boy reported that he was punched in the face again before the three men ran away.
    No arrests have been made.
"(The victim) was unable to provide a description of any of them," Nicodemus said.
