Thanks to the fine, digital camera work of Immaculata athletic director John Phillips, there is video of Lady Raider Brittany Simek scoring her 1000th point for the girls’ basketball team.

I feel the accomplishment speaks for itself. Scoring that many points in a four-year career is quite a feat and not an easy one at that.
Congratulations to Simek, who’s athleticism and aggressiveness from the forward position makes her a defensive nightmare for opponents.
Also, congrats to the Imac program. I think the achievement shows the improvement and quality of the team in the recent years.
