1. What's differentiates the Haven's Wooded Trail 5K Run from every other 5K?
This course isn't your typical 5k run. Haven's Park is a beautiful wooded nature park with many different types of trails throughout its 65 acres including; mulched, asphalt fire roads, hills and single track. The will also be course obstacles runners will have to maneuver throughout the course.
2. What is the route?
The route is a 5k (3.1 mile) course that is held within the 65 acres of Haven's Park. Runners will experience all the wonders of nature while being taken up and down hills and through various course obstacles.
3. What should people expect to get out of this event?
Race participants should plan on turning their running shoes into muddy shoes while running through mud pits, jumping over fallen logs, maneuvering steep downhill rope climbs, as well as other race course obstacles.
4. How can someone go about registering for this event?
Early On-Line Registration will be accepted until 11 p.m. November 16th, 2011 at www.enter2run.com. Early registration costs $28.
Late registrations will be accepted from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 19 (race day) at the event registration/check-in table at Haven's Park. Late (morning of) registration costs $38. Cash or check only.

5. Do you have other races scheduled?
Yes, the High Noon Rudolph's Red Nose Run will be held on December 3. The race will begin at 12 p.m. outside of Leavenworth's very own High Noon Saloon. Anyone interested in registering for this event may do so at www.enter2run.com.
