At least one person went to the hospital following a three-car crash Wednesday afternoon in Lansing, a police spokesman said.

Lansing police Capt. Ben Ontiveros said only minor injuries were reported. He said a juvenile boy was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The crash was reported a short time before 4 p.m. Wednesday in the southbound lanes of Main Street near Mary Street.

Ontiveros said a rear-end collision caused a chain reaction that resulted in another rear-end crash.

He said the crash is still under investigation but inattentive driving and intoxicated driving are considered possible contributing factors.
