The Red Hots, a U10 soccer team with members that attend Xavier, Leavenworth, Lansing and Pleasant Ridge elementary schools, recently wrapped their summer season with a first-place finish at the Sunflower State Games.
The Reds Hots — which includes team members Sydney Howell, Maddy Bachtel, Alexis Cole, Kennedy Farris, Allison Hare, Allison Herbig, Caitlyn Herbig, Jordyn Lanter, Riley Phillips and Sydni Bolewski — qualified to attend the State Games of America in San Diego in August of 2011.
Earlier this summer the Red Hots competed at the Patriot Cup in Raytown, placing third at that event.
