On July 8, 2017, the rural country setting of the Zion United Methodist Church, rural Robinson, Kansas was the location for the exchange of wedding vows by Katherine Rush of Highland, Kansas and Keith Edmonds of Easton, Kansas.

On July 8, 2017, the rural country setting of the Zion United Methodist Church, rural Robinson, Kansas was the location for the exchange of wedding vows by Katherine Rush of Highland, Kansas and Keith Edmonds of Easton, Kansas. Their parents are Roger and Joyce Rush, Highland and Kent and Toni Edmonds of Easton. Late grandparents of the bride are George and Virginia Meyer and Harold and June Rush. Late grandparents of the groom are Lloyd “Tony” and Jackie Day and Wilbur and Helen Edmonds.

Pastor Paul Waters officiated the ceremony, assisted by Pastor Charlie Neill.

Laura Rush, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Wil Edmonds, brother of the groom, served as best man. Also attending the bride were friends Addyson McCall, Katie Manhart, Richelle Pretzer, and Katie Meng. Attending the groom were Jake Pineau, Russell Gildner, and Noah Harms, friends of the groom, in addition to Carter Brian, cousin of the groom.  Madeline Aller and Kara Jones, cousins of the bride, were flower girls. Ushers were Stuart Aller and Joey Meyer, cousins of the bride, Andy Day, uncle of the groom, and Newt Heston, friend of the groom. Carter and Tom Brian were violinists during the service and at the reception. Judi Bruning provided piano and organ music. Personal attendant for the bride was Alexis Stortz. Emily and Sadie Meyer, cousins of the bride, served at the guest book and gift table.

The reception followed at the Fisher Center in Hiawatha, Kansas. Flowers for the bride and attendants, altar, and reception were arranged by Kim Kleopfer, Alexis Stortz, and the bride.

Following a trip to Hawaii, the couple settled in Ashland, Kansas. Keith teaches middle and high school social studies, along with coaching, in the Ashland school district. Katherine is serving as an elementary special education para, also in the Ashland school district. Both are graduates of Kansas State University.
