The city of Leavenworth’s Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its second annual two-mile Hound Hike on Sept. 25, as part of the grand opening ceremony for the new Waggin’ Tails Dog Park. The grand opening ceremony kicks off at 9 a.m. with the hike starting at approximately 10 a.m.
