The Leavenworth County Democratic Party will host a “meet the candidates” event at 9 a.m. Saturday in the east room of the Leavenworth Public Library.
Nancy Bauder, candidate for the Kansas State House of Representatives in the 41st District, and Lisa Weakley, candidate for the 1st District Leavenworth County Commission seat, will be featured speakers.
The event is free and open to the public. The hot breakfast, catered by Santa Fe Depot, will cost $8.
