This weekend, the city of Leavenworth will celebrate the holidays with several events.
On Saturday, Santa will arrive in Leavenworth at the Riverfront Community Center for his annual “Breakfast with Santa.”
The breakfast will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Santa will be available for photos and will be taking notes on all the good little girls and boys requests.
Adult tickets will cost $5 in advance or $6 at the door. Children’s tickets are $4 in advance or $5 at the door.

After breakfast, the C.W. Parker Carousel Museum will be the site of the annual “Small Mall.”
Gifts will be available for families with small children and all children will receive a free ride on the carousel.
The Small Mall will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. All gifts will be available for less than $6.
A craft show and sale will be available for parents while children shop.

Later that evening, the Main Street annual Holiday Lighted Parade will travel through downtown Leavenworth.
The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Haymarket Square and travel east down Delaware to Leavenworth Landing Park.
All parade entries are lighted and those who attend the parade will be encouraged to follow the parade through downtown.
At 6:30 p.m., the Leavenworth Parks and Recreation Department will host the Mayor’s Tree Lighting in Leavenworth Landing Park.
The tree lighting will feature caroling, entertainment, Santa and Mrs. Claus and fireworks over the Missouri River.
