Leavenworth library plans upcoming activities

The Leavenworth Public Library will present the following upcoming activities:

n Summer story time will be at 10 a.m. June 15 and June 16, programs and will have a “pirate” theme. Preschoolers to early-elementary-age children and their caregivers are invited. The program runs from 30 to 45 minutes in length.

n Between 2 and 3 p.m. on June 15, those between the ages of 9 and 11 years old will visit fun stations to find out “What is water?” on this water science day.

n From 7 to 7:30 p.m. in the evening of June 15, storyteller Priscilla Howe and her hand puppets will perform funny-and-finny stories and songs of the watery world.
n The library will be showing Happy Feet at 2 p.m. on June 16.
