Q: Any special jobs I can do outside when it is nice?
A: As a matter of fact there is.
n When the ground is frozen you shouldn’t walk on it any more than necessary.
n Spots where you have an excess of leaves, go ahead and pick them up, also walk around and pick up any sticks that have fallen on your lawn. If you have fallen fruits also pick them up.
n If there is an abundance of snow on your lawn, scatter it, a great place to throw it is under the eaves of your house if you have plants there as this is a problem area for moisture.
n Water fall planted perennials.
n Get those bulbs in the ground now!
n Read a good gardening book, get your juices flowing.
