1. UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY: Members of the Leavenworth Police Department will play local youth in a friendly basketball game as part of the Unity in the Community Movement’s second annual event. The youth also will play the adults in a softball game. Free hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available. There also will be a bounce house and face painting.

2. CITY MARKET: The Leavenworth City Market is held on the second Saturday of each month from May through October. A wide assortment of items are available to purchase. The Leavenworth Farmers Market will be going on at the same time and location.

4. A RIDE FOR THE WOUNDED: The annual charity motorcycle ride is a benefit for wounded military veterans. After the 100-mile ride, the band Shades of Grey will perform.
