A man was arrested for allegedly taking pictures under a woman's skirt at the Wal-Mart store in Leavenworth, a police spokesman said.

The Leavenworth Police Department was contacted by security personnel, who had detained the suspect.

The 55-year-old rural Leavenworth man is alleged to have taken pictures or video of the victim, according to Maj. Dan Nicodemus, deputy chief of the Leavenworth Police Department.

Following an investigation, the suspect was arrested for breach of privacy, which is a felony.
