A lockdown has ended at the maximum security unit of the Lansing Correctional Facility, according to a prison spokesman.

A lockdown has ended at the maximum security unit of the Lansing Correctional Facility, according to a prison spokesman.

The lockdown restrictions ended Monday morning. Prison spokesman Brett Peterson said the unit has resumed its normal schedule.

The unit was locked down following an altercation Friday between two inmate groups in the maximum security dining room. No injuries were reported.
