Lansing police officers responded to two car accidents Wednesday that were reported about 10 minutes apart, a police spokesman said.

Lansing police officers responded to two car accidents Wednesday that were reported about 10 minutes apart, a police spokesman said.

The first crash was reported at about 1:20 p.m. at Main Street and Gilman Road. The accident involved a tractor-trailer and a passenger car. Two people were taken to the hospital following the crash, police Capt. Ben Ontiveros said.

The second crash was reported a short time later at Main Street and 4-H Road. This crash involved two passenger cars. Ontiveros believes one person was transported to the hospital following this crash.
