The incident was reported at about 3:15 a.m. Monday at the Leavenworth County Cooperative Association, 1205 N. Main St.

Lansing police Capt. Ben Ontiveros said police were alerted by an alarm and someone who reported witnessing the burglary.

A 32-year-old Leavenworth man allegedly broke into the store by smashing a window.
