The temperature was a bit on the chilly side, but the organizer of the 35th annual Leavenworth St. Patrick’s Day Parade was pleased with the event on an overcast day in downtown Leavenworth.

“I thought it went great,” Tim Scanlon said. “The rain held off and everyone seemed to have a good time.”

Scanlon praised the organizing committee for their hard work in putting on the annual parade.

“I couldn’t do this without the committee,” he said. “They did a great job.”

Approximately 90 entries were a part of this year’s parade that toured downtown Leavenworth.

The entries included motorcycles, family floats, horses, bands, antique cars and more.

Susan and Rod Bray served as the grand marshals of this year’s parade.
