A man was arrested after he allegedly fled from the scene of a rollover crash near Tonganoxie. Authorities located the driver at a nearby bar, according to an official with the Leavenworth County Sheriff's Office.

A man was arrested after he allegedly fled from the scene of a rollover crash near Tonganoxie. Authorities located the driver at a nearby bar, according to an official with the Leavenworth County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to a report of a rollover accident shortly after midnight Sunday in the area of 246th Street and Evans Road.

Deputies found a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado pickup with significant damage. The driver was not at the scene, according to Undersheriff Jim Sherley.

Witnesses provided a description of the driver. A 51-year-old rural Tonganoxie man, who is believed to have been the driver, was located at a bar on Kansas 16 Highway.

He was arrested for various alleged traffic offenses and allegedly giving false information to deputies, according to Sherley.
