Other victims have not come forward

A woman reported that she and others were robbed while at a Leavenworth apartment. But the other victims have not yet come forward, a police spokesman said.

The incident was reported at about 10:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Spruce Street.

The victim, a 20-year-old woman, reported to police that she visited an apartment where seven other people were present.

At some point, four other men reportedly entered the apartment and threatened the occupants, according to Maj. Dan Nicodemus, deputy chief of the Leavenworth Police Department.

Three of the four suspects brandished firearms. The suspects reportedly demanded purses, phones and other valuables.

The 20-year-old victim reported that her handbag, driver's license, iPhone and prescription medication were taken during the robbery. Items also were taken from the other victims at the apartment.

The suspects left the apartment.

“No one was hurt,” Nicodemus said.

The deputy chief said the 20-year-old victim was able to provide only a general description of the suspects. She did not know the identity of the other victims.

“I would encourage them to come forward,” Nicodemus said of the other victims.
