A preliminary hearing has been scheduled in the case of a rural Linwood who is accused of killing his girlfriend.

Dan S. Flannagan, 63, is charged in Leavenworth County District Court with intentional second-degree murder in connection to the shooting death of Constance Perryman.

Perryman's body was found April 6 on property located off of 198th Street south of Linwood.

Flannagan was Perryman's live-in boyfriend, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in the case.

Flannagan appeared in court Wednesday. The judge scheduled a preliminary hearing for June 5.

The prosecution will present evidence during the preliminary hearing, and the judge will determine if the case against Flannagan should move forward.

Flannagan remains in custody at the Leavenworth County Jail.
