A juvenile was taken into custody after allegedly cutting his brother during an altercation in Lansing, a police spokesman said.

The incident was reported at 3:47 p.m. Monday at Fawn Valley Court.

Lt. M. Dickason of the Lansing Police Department said the altercation was between two brothers, both of whom are minors. One of them was cut in the hand and struck with a bat. But the injuries were not considered life-threatening.

One juvenile was arrested.
