A man reported that he was attacked by several people and robbed at a Leavenworth bar, a police spokesman said.

A man reported that he was attacked by several people and robbed at a Leavenworth bar, a police spokesman said.

The incident was reported at 11:29 p.m. Friday at Trails End Lounge, 3011 S. Fourth St.

The 35-year-old victim reported to police that he had an argument about money with an acquaintance. During the argument, the victim reportedly was attacked by multiple people, according to Maj. Dan Nicodemus, deputy chief of the Leavenworth Police Department.

After the incident was over, the victim discovered his wallet and cellphone were missing. The man reported that $672 was in the wallet.

The victim went to a hospital to be checked out. His injuries are not considered serious, according to Nicodemus.

The deputy chief said police are working to identify suspects in the case.
