The westbound lanes of Eisenhower Road will be closed in front of the Dillons store beginning Monday, weather permitting, according to city of Leavenworth officials.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane for westbound traffic and one lane for eastbound traffic.

Both of what are normally the westbound lanes will be closed between Shrine Park Road and the west entrance of Dillons, which is located at 720 Eisenhower Road.

"We're going to be patching potholes," Deputy Public Works Director Mike Hooper said.

The work is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m., and the lanes will be reopened at 4 p.m.

Hooper hopes the work can be completed in one day, but crews may have to return on Tuesday.

During the lane closures, drivers will be able to access Dillons from the west entrance on Eisenhower Road as well as from Shrine Park Road. Woody's Gas Express, 700 Eisenhower, can be accessed from a Shrine Park Road entrance.
