Approximately 20 downtown Leavenworth merchants will feature more than 15 different craft beers at this month’s Alive After 5 event.

The Craft Beer Crawl, a production Leavenworth Main Street, will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday in the downtown district.

All Alive After 5 events have themes. Wendy Scheidt, executive director of Leavenworth Main Street, said the beer crawl is one of the most popular.

“Everybody likes the beer crawl,” she said.

Tickets are $15 per person and can be obtained at the Leavenworth Main Street office, 416 Cherokee St.

Attendees can pick up their tickets at those merchants. A map of the participating businesses is on the back of the ticket.

“It’s going to be a fun evening and the weather is supposed to be great,” Scheidt said. “Make it a date night or bring your family and friends.”

Attendees will be able to try dozens of different kinds craft beers. Each sample is two ounces.

Each of the participating merchants will also feature a wide assortment of appetizers during the event.

Scheidt said a couple of musicians will be performing outside during the beer crawl.
