The incident was reported at 7:50 a.m. in the area of Sixth and Cheyenne streets. But Leavenworth police Lt. Chris Kear said there are discrepancies among witnesses regarding the exact location.

No arrests were made.

“We didn’t locate a suspect, but we have a name of the suspect,” Kear said.

The suspect, who is a man, reportedly was arguing with a woman when another man interviewed. The suspect allegedly fired shots at the other man.

No injuries were reported.
