Dan S. Flannagan entered the plea Wednesday in Leavenworth County District Court.

A trial has been scheduled for Dec. 10.

Flannagan, 63, is charged with intentional second-degree murder in connection to the death of Constance Perryman.

Perryman’s body was found April 6 on property located off of 198th Street south of Linwood. She reportedly died from a shotgun wound.

Flannagan and Perryman had been living together on the property.

Wednesday’s arraignment followed a preliminary hearing last month. Based on the evidence presented during the preliminary hearing, District Judge Michael Gibbens had the defendant bound over.

Gibbens said Wednesday that he would reserve four days for the trial.

Gibbens scheduled a pretrial conference for Oct. 31.
