Authorities are investigating an armed robbery at a Lansing restaurant, a police spokesman said.

The robbery was reported at about 10:20 p.m. Monday at Pizza Hut, 407 N. Main St.

The restaurant was closed but three employees were still working at the business, according to Capt. Ben Ontiveros of the Lansing Police Department.

Two men reportedly entered through a door to the business. Ontiveros believes the door was not locked. One of the men was armed with a handgun.

One of the employees suffered minor injuries during the incident.

The two suspects fled the business with money, Ontiveros said.

The captain said police are following up on leads. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the Lansing Police Department at 913-727-3000.
