An 82-year-old Leavenworth woman remained in the hospital Wednesday after she reportedly was battered by her daughter over the weekend, according to a police spokesman.
The incident was reported at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the victim’s residence in the 1100 block of Sherman Street.
The victim and her 56-year-old daughter reportedly were arguing in the driveway of the residence.
The daughter allegedly shoved her mother into a trailer, according to Maj. Robert Smith, deputy chief of the Leavenworth Police Department.
“And she fell and hit her head,” Smith said of the victim.
