These are just a few of the more than 30 cats that are available for adoption at the Leavenworth Animal Control Shelter.
According to shelter staff, they are “overflowing with cats” of various ages, sizes and breeds. The cats have been spayed or neutered and the adoption fee is $20 for each cat.
The shelter is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the second Saturday of every month at 1720 S. Second St.
