The Friends of the Lansing Community Library are looking for donations of new or gently used books, CDs and DVDs for the group’s upcoming book sale Oct. 1 through 3. Unfortunately no encyclopedias, textbooks or magazines can be accepted.

Donations can be brought to the Lansing Library at 730 First Terrace during regular library hours from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Beginning Sept. 4, Saturday hours will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Funds raised from the sale are used by the Friends group to improve the library and its programs.
