A hearing on a motion asking a judge to reconsider the sentence of a former elementary school librarian who sexually abused a student has been continued.

The hearing in the case of Anthony C. Baker had been scheduled for Monday morning. But the hearing was continued until Wednesday because the victim’s mother was not in attendance.

Baker, 37, was sentenced last month to nearly 25 years for two counts of aggravated criminal sodomy and one count of sexual exploitation of a child.

He was working at Muncie Elementary School at the time the crimes were committed.
