Immaculata High School has won a league title in Scholars’ Bowl for the second straight year.
A team from the Leavenworth school won the Jan. 16 Delaware Valley League tournament without losing a single round, according to coach Tim Loper, who also teaches at Immaculata.
The winning team was made up of seniors Sang Moo Song, Katie Fratzel and Ange Davis and juniors Julius Melero, John Jones and Jeff Meyer.
Scholars’ Bowl is an activity in which teams compete head-to-head by answering questions on topics such as math, literature and current events.
“We entered the league last year,” Loper said.
