After being involved in a crash Wednesday afternoon at a Lansing apartment complex, a man allegedly ran from law-enforcement officers and locked himself inside an apartment, a police spokesman said.
It was reported to police that the 25-year-old suspect had been seen with a firearm.
“We did treat it as a possible barricaded subject,” said Lansing Police Chief Steve Wayman.
A woman eventually opened the apartment door for officers and the man was taken into custody. No injuries were reported.
The incident began at about 2 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of North Fourth Street.
