Linda F. Rose, 67, of Lansing, Kansas passed away peacefully on Thursday July 6, 2017 surrounded by family and is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.


Linda F. Rose, 67, of Lansing, Kansas passed away peacefully on Thursday July 6, 2017 surrounded by family and is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Visitation will be Sunday July 9, 2017 from 2 until 4 p.m. at Belden Larkin Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Church of the Open Door with Pastor Damian Efta officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Linda was born March 15, 1950, in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. She has resided in Leavenworth-Lansing area since 1974. Linda worked for the United States Disciplinary Barracks for 28 years and retired in 2012. Linda was an avid quilter and made many quilts for her family. Her greatest joy was family get-togethers and spending time with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Columbus B. Decker and Mary Jo Kreutzer Decker, brother; Joseph B. Decker, sister, Elizabeth Ann Decker; and brother, DeWayne B. Decker.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Belford (Sonnie) Rose of the home, daughter Amanda (Dan) Winton, Leavenworth, Kansas, son Bryan (Lindsay) Henderson, Overland Park, Kansas, and stepdaughter Kathy (Joey) Smith, Walthourville, Georgia; four sisters Veronica (Mike) Decker, Opelika, Alabama, Phyllis (Bill) Minor, Niceville, Florida, Sudie Decker, Lansing, Kansas, and Rita (John) Stanyan, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Mary Beth, Christopher, Allie, Nolan, Janie, and Kasey, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials in her name may be directed to the Traumatic Brain Injury Association.
