A.Marie (Mezzera) Boon, Murrieta, California, formally of Leavenworth, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 29, 2017.

A.Marie (Mezzera) Boon, Murrieta, California, formally of Leavenworth, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 29, 2017.
She was always a happy, laughing and loving person. Her children adored her.
She was born to Egisto and Adelina Mezzera in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Sept 18, 1919.  She attended the Old Cathedral School (Immaculate Conception) and graduated from Immaculata High School in 1937 and worked at her parents business, the Reveille Uniform Company, until her marriage to Raymond Boone on Feb 2, 1941.
She was very active in St. Joseph’s school and Immaculata. The Family moved to California and later to Phoenix, Arizona where she worked at Bostrom’s, an exclusive gift shop and later worked for the State of Arizona until her retirement.
She enjoyed being with her children and visiting them in various states to include Alaska with her daughters. She enjoyed visiting relatives in Italy and Hawaii with her brother and his wife. She enjoyed volunteering with her daughter Joan at the Carousel Museum.  She enjoyed every minute of her life!
She is survived by her seven children, Joan (Art) Burre, Leavenworth, Ray (WeiWei), Austin, Texas, Daniel (Gwen), Irvine, California, George (Ellyn), Cloverdale, California, Donna, Murrieta, California, Charlie (Judy), Mesquite, Nevada, and Barbara Howes, Hemet, California and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ray, her brother Lorenzo Mezzera, her sister Fritzi Masterson and great grandson Michael Lumby.
She was cremated. A Memorial service will be celebrated later at St. Joseph’s Church.  Memorials may be given to St. Joseph Church, Leavenworth Catholic Schools or the C.W. Parker Carousel Museum.
