Hazel Marie Walden Cummins passed away June 21, 2017 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 100 Years.
Hazel was born in Leavenworth Co., Kansas on December 6, 1916 to Ed and Florence Meyer Walden. She married Raymond G. Cummins on April 19, 1939 in Platte City, Missouri. They farmed ground in Leavenworth Co., Kansas where Hazel had been born. In 1965, Ray and Hazel moved to Olathe, Kansas where Ray worked for John Deere selling machinery. Hazel was a homemaker. She loved to knit and made many afghans for friends and family. She also volunteered at the gift shop in the Olathe Hospital for 21 years. 
Hazel and Ray had three children, Roberta, David (Audrey) and Margaret. Hazel is survived by six grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, and special nieces and nephews, Vickie, Randy, Connie and Jeff. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond, two grandsons, Daniel and Scott Cummins and two sons-in-law, Gene Harding and Dick Dulaney. 
A memorial service will be held July 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Sunset Memory Gardens, 16731 Springdale Rd, Leavenworth, Kansas. Memorials may be made to charity of your choice.
