Eugenia Margaret Cloud, of Leavenworth, passed away Thursday November 2, 2017 at Providence Medical Center, at the age of 94.

Eugenia Margaret Cloud, of Leavenworth, passed away Thursday November 2, 2017 at Providence Medical Center, at the age of 94. She was married June 2, 1946, to Maurice Dale Cloud, who preceded her in death, on April 27, 2012.
Mrs. Cloud was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on January 10, 1923 where she lived until 1941 when the family moved to Muncie, Indiana, where she attended and graduated from Ball State (Teachers College) University in 1944. Upon her graduation she began work in the Editorial Department of 
the Muncie Evening Press and served there as a reporter and until her marriage in 1946. She 
also served as a counselor at Ball State and later returned to the Muncie Press as Assistant Society Editor. In 1959 she organized a clipping library for both the Press and the Muncie Morning Star.
In 1958 the family moved to Southern California where later she was a staff member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood, California, and 1973 began work as a secretary to the Stated Clerk of the Synod of Southern California and Hawaii of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) She retired in 1987 as Administrative Assistant of the San Francisco Theological 
Seminary Extension Center in Southern California. In 1990 she and her husband moved to Leavenworth where she is a member of the First Presbyterian Church and served as a Deacon, Elder and Clerk of Session.
Mrs. Cloud is preceded in death by her brother, John A. Laughner and daughter, Deborah Cloud. She is survived by her two sons, Daniel J. Cloud of Rancho Palos Verdes, California, and his wife Pamela; Eric Scott Cloud of West Hills, California, and his wife Carol; and one daughter, Carolyn Anderson of Leavenworth, and her husband Howard; six grandchildren: Holly and her husband Chris Allen, Scott Anderson, Bryan and Patrik Cloud, Evan Cloud and six great-grandchildren, Zyan Cloud, Audrey Anderson, Avery Allen, and Lacey and Michael Cloud. She is 
also survived by her sister Betty Jo Michaelini, nieces, great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held at Davis Funeral Chapel, Monday November 6, 2017 from 5-7 p.m.
A processional meeting will be at the Davis Funeral Chapel at noon. Interment will be at the 
Leavenworth National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday November 7, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday November 7, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Tim Soule presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorials are asked to be made to the First Presbyterian Church of
