Timothy J. Ault, 61, of Olathe, Kan., (formerly of Leavenworth, Kan.), passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, surrounded by his beloved family.

Timothy J. Ault, 61, of Olathe, Kan., (formerly of Leavenworth, Kan.), passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, surrounded by his beloved family.
Timothy was born April 1, 1956, in San Marcos, Texas to William and Marguerite (Vandal) Ault. Tim graduated from Leavenworth Senior High School in 1973 where he was a member of the football and wrestling teams and the National Honor Society. He attended Kansas State University and remained a loyal fan. After college, Tim took up running, biking and swimming and participated in many marathons and triathlons. Tim was a valued employee of the Leavenworth VA for over 35 years. His job brought him great joy and he was an exemplary employee receiving numerous commendations from his employer. Tim was loved by his family and always looked forward to family get-togethers.
Tim is survived by his parents, William and Marguerite Ault; his brother, Mark Ault (Marilyn); his sisters, Mary Bennett (Gary) and Elizabeth Nelson (Patrick); 15 nieces and nephews; and 14 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation beginning with praying the rosary will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at noon, Saturday, at the church, with Rev. David McEvoy, O.Carm, as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements in care of R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Catholic Charities or Catholic
Community Hospice.
